At the northernmost part of Tehran, lies a 300 Square meter-including residential sections and natural sections- Saad’aabad Complex. The complex has 18 palaces belonged to the royal families of Qajar and Pahlavid.
The first peremises of the complex were the original summer residence of Qajar dynasty, but after the expansion of the compound, Reza Sha and afterward his son Mohammad Reza Shah lived there.
Main buildings are;
- The White Palace (Nation Museum)
- The Green Palace
- Ahmad Shah-e Qajar Palace
- Asvad Palace
- Shams Palace
The complex’s palaces are now museums.
