Katale Khor Cave

Katale Khor is a cave which is located in the province of Zanjan and the city of Khodabande. In some western parts of Iran, they call the low-lying mountains “Kataleh” and that’s maybe the origin of this cave’s name plus the “Khor” word which is the short form of “Khorshid” with the literal meaning of “Sun”. All together Katale khor means the low-lying mountain from where sun rises.
