Golestan palace (Palace of flowers) is located in the historical part of Tehran- the Capital of Iran. This Complex was the seat and home of Qajar dynasty and was one enclosed with the walls of Tehran’s histor Arg.
During Pahlavid era this complex was used as a ceremonial palace for Mohammad Reza Shah and his father Reza Sha. The second king of Pahlavid dynasty- Mohammad Reza- was crowned here.
There are a great number of halls, palaces and museums in the complex.
